Dr. Ryan Trimble – Doctor of Optometry
Born in Meadville, Pennsylvania, Dr. Trimble moved to the Farmington Valley with his wife Meredith in 2005. They have been Unionville residents ever since. Dr. Trimble earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania’s Juniata College and a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. Upon moving to Connecticut, Dr. Trimble started Trimble Vision Services, LLC which provides professional eye exams in a number of Hartford optical locations such as Harvey & Lewis, the Wal-Mart Vision Center and L.A. Vision. Meredith is the former director of education for the Connecticut Office of State Ethics and is currently a member of the Farmington Board of Education. When not providing top-notch eye care, Dr. Trimble enjoys bike riding, cooking and stepping on Legos left underfoot by his two children. He admits to playing in the over 40 FSA soccer league.
Stewart Miller, Licensed Optician
I’m a licensed Optician that has practiced in CT for more than 20 years. Once you meet me you’ll soon realize being an optician is more than my occupation, it’s something I love doing. I’ve worked in many types of optical practices, including 12 years as owner of Opticians Unlimited, in downtown Hartford. I’m proud that it had been named Best Eyeglass Store” multiple times. I hope that what I bring to the already great team at Union Eye Works will make your experience here the best it can be.
Originally from Newington, I played soccer through high school, graduated from Watkinson School in Hartford, and hold degrees from both C.C.S.U. in New Britain, and M.X.C.T.C in Middletown. My wife Wanda and I live in Unionville where we have raised 4 children and our yellow lab Ella. We both spend time involved in the community. I spent 26 years coaching youth basketball in West Hartford, and was a member of the Greater Hartford Jaycees. In my spare time I’m a Justice of the Peace, somewhat of an amateur photographer, and I love trying out new places to eat. I’m a HUGE Uconn Husky fan, love talking sports, and can’t wait to meet you, – Stewart
